I purchased the Harmony G last month (to use with my Variax, PodXT Live guitar setup) and absolutely love it! It's really a solid, well-built unit, a complete doddle to operate, and sounds fabulous! I also looked at the Harmony M but opted for the G model because the guitar is my main instrument for writing and performing. I've owned several Digitech Vocalist models in the past and this new pedal really makes me smile...

Have fun with your new toy!

Michael

GW8 looks nice Donny...Good move on the Harmony M though!! I don't think you will regret it.

Nice system you would then have with the S900 and the harmony M...very smooth!!

Hadn't really looked at the Harmony M that closely until this morning...

So far I've used Digitech rack units that are forever failing because of this or that. The apparent quality + size combination of this unit really appeals to me...

Question on the foot pedal. Similar to the Digitech models, will a standard sustain pedal also work with this unit?

It'll sit very nicely on my T2...

Cheers...

Standard footswitch will work to control on/off. That's the way I use it.
It's great.

One Harmony M ordered, should be here late this week or early next...

Curious what any former users of Digitech harmonizers can tip me off to about switching to a TC Helicon unit? What do you like better/worse, etc...

Thanks..

Bill,

I've been using a Digitech VR for years and just began using the Harmony M. The Harmony M is much clearer, the vocals are full, and it's very easy to set up.

UPDATE...

WOW, ordered it from Sweetwater yesterday morning and it just got delivered by Fedex!

It helps that Sweetewater (Ft. Wayne, IN) is fairly close to Dayton, OH...

After I get it up and running, I'll post a report...

OK well I dont know if the GW8 & Harmony M will be "perfect together" because the Gw8 isn't out yet ....But I do know one thing, the Tyros & TC Helicon Harmony M is perfect together for my needs so far......now I have a decent arranger excellent styles & sounds & Super Vocal Harmonies when needed for live stage use & studio work also. This little VH unit sounds awesome once you set it up properly, been using it about 3 weeks now.
Thanks Gary for the assistance.

Bravo TC Helicon!

Donny-

Glad your pleased with the TC Helicon. It really has some super sounds in it. Unfortunately, and especially with Gary's two cents as well...it really depends on how you play your arranger to get the best results. Even the CS at TC Helicon basically said the same thing (that using full keyboard mode may result in "uneven results.")

I'm not about to change how I play my keyboard, so I'll press on happily with the Digitechs I have...

What's this "A List" I'm hearing about?

Take care-
