An interesting new My Space twist is the use by usually smaller companies for information/marketing. Just before and after NAMM, I Googled Jazzkats amplifiers and other products/companies of interest. Many had used My Space as a marketing tool. Roland and Ketron have done it effectively.
I agree with Dave and others here about the questionable value of My Space as an individual contact/socialization tool. (however, if I didn't know him, I'd welcome the chance to meet that big old teddy bear, UD...with or without nipple ring-LOL!).
