Donny I very happy with the Bose, lightweight and comfortable. Such good sound that when I take them off and play a gig thru either the Barbetta 31c or the Roland CM 30 cube monitors the high fidelity just isn't there in comparison.

I like the Sony buds because the rubber tips fit in ear although they are not true noise cancelling they easily shut out background music that usually piped into the gym. They also help block out that annoying sound of a lawnmower running.

Finally... an acknowledgment that some of these keyboard combos are ANYTHING but hi-fi, in fact, just about all of them!

I have never played through any combo that even remotely sounded hi-fi... At home, the G70 goes through Mackie HR824's. Why would I want to gig through something that sounded inferior? To me, most combos sound boxy and middle-y, not enough horn and clear highs, not enough bottom and clear, tight bass.

Stick them onstage as they were designed to be used, as primarily keyboard monitors in a live band situation, and all that extra middle helps cut through, but use them as a PA and you immediately start to notice the coloration (unless you are mostly used to the on-board speaker sound )

Been using Sony MDR-7506's 15 years or more...

Great unhyped sound, comfy, relatively inexpensive.
