Good job Niels.

What style and guitar lead did you use? I get my G70 tomorrow, can't wait - perfect compliment to the S900

Niels,

Lovely recording...lead instruments were terrific...well phrased and beautifully played.

The melody was simple, but very effective and your arrangement was well thought out.

Fine work, to be sure.

Ian

Niels,

Great arrangement of this classic Oasis song (don't know if the british rock band Oasis is known in the US). It has inspired me to try it out on my Pa800 too.

Kind regards,
Tommy

For those searching for more information about this song the original title is:

"Don't Look Back in Anger" by Oasis

Kind regards,
Tommy

Hi

Thanks for the nice comments.

zuki,

I’m using the internal style Soft Rock. The guitar is a mix of V LP OverDr and the SRX-07 guitar NashvilleSRX.

Regards
Niels

I agree with all the above comments nice drumming - the virtual drummer must have built up a sweat

Did you tweak the soft rock style somehow , or use an effects/filter of some kind on the style - it sounds very good even on my small PC speakers

Careful, Zuki. You are about to enter a zone that might leave you hating BOTH keyboards!

The SOUND of the G70 is going to show the S900 up for being a bit on the thin and anemic side, but the OS is going to drive you crazy at times, compared to the S900's more logical layout!

For me, it is sound above all else, so, no problem. But I DO understand where a lot of the loyalty to Yamaha comes from (and it sure ain't the bass and drums!).

We have a member at Roland-arranger who is experimenting with sync-ing two arrangers together (not just sounds, but style sections, too!) but he reports that sadly the Yamaha's don't have the MIDI codes for the Style section to achieve this. Otherwise, the two could be mind-melded and you could create possibly the perfect arranger!

But I have a sneaky feeling (with this combination) you are going to be pulling your hair out in frustration, AND loving the sound all at the same time

Hi Tony

I have tweaked the style with the Makeup Tools, but havn´t used any external effects or filters.
