I recently saw a keyboard amp with 4 channels and each channel had it's own EQ. I wondering if it was on this website? Has anyone seen it?

Thanks,

Peter

The Peavey and Roland are not the amps. Each of those have a 3 band EQ global. The one I had seen has a 2 band EQ on each channel.
Is there an amp called Drive?

Thanks.

OR, perhaps one of these? Only thing...the 4 channel amps in this page have 7 band Graphic EQ

THe Drive isn't the amp.

The Traynor K4 isn't the amp either, but that looks like it may work. Have to hear it.

Here's the situation.

I already own the Roland KC300...a terrific amp.
I own and use the PSR3000....a terrific keyboard with exception, and that exception is the piano sound.

When I play the 3K through the Roland amp the rhythms sound good. Good bottom, mid, crisp. The "stereo piano" sounds tinny, thin etc., not to my liking. And the other sounds don't sound good either. The 3K, IMO, sounds best by itself or with an excellent system. The one I use is 2 Peavey 10" powered speakers with the woofer from the Z5500. This set up I use in a larger setting and I'm happy with that for now.

I tried the 3K with the Roland using a mixer and tweaking the voices and it still sounds tinny.
So, I'm looking for an amp for my little 1 hour jobs, in and out in an hour. No big set up.

I still have a Technics KN1000 that sounds terrific coming through any amp or system that I've used, but that keyboard isn't practical anymore.
The 3K is a great keyboard technically and sound wise (playing through it's own speakers).

I don't know if I'll get what I'm looking for with this keyboard (on a small amp like the Roland KC300).
I just want the 3K to sound half way decent on a small amp.

Thanks

Peter,
Maybe you need two small powered speakers...I never thought the 3k(or S900) sounded it's best when put through a mono amp, especially the piano sound.

I use two 60 watt powered monitors that weigh less the 30 lbs each...Yamaha MS-60S is the model...discontinued but sometimes you find them for sale, but not often as people seem to keep them...mine are over 15 years old.

The Traynor K4 is really good but a tad heavy.

The Roland CM30 powered speakers come highly recommended from several member on this forum...the price is good.

Good luck.

Ian
