When changing styles, the tempo will not remain same when i stop and select another style. We find this tempo lock in all Korg arranger keybaords but why this tempo lock feature is missing in Yamaha PSR keyboards?

On Ty2 you can go into Function/Style setting.
Towards bottom right of that screen under Style Change Behaviour you can set Tempo to Hold or Reset.

John,
Is there tempo lock feature is s900 also?
In Korg PA50,there are two nice fatures, one is tempo lock and other one is whenever a style is played, automatically the tempo speed is set to data DIAL.This is very convenient to adjust tempo speed without using both tempo +,- buttons.

OK that works if you switch styles in mid play, but having read your post in more detail, if you stop the style and then select a new one, the new tempo comes in regardless. Sorry can't help there

Hi sunny,
our last posts crossed- suggest you see the qualification I made.

I can't be sure if the S900 has the Tempo Hold function - hopefully an owner will advise.

The PSR-S900 has a tempo "hold" button.

Go to Function...Style Setting...button #7 turns it on.
