Can you display .kar files out of the PSR2K onto a tv screen with any success? (You know with scrolling lyrics and all?) The Guy's at the store know nothing about this. I could be wrong and this may not be possible. Can you store files on smartmedia (lots of them) and easily load and play them one after the other with this keyboard??

No, the 2000 does not come equipped with video outputs, as the 9000 and Pro do.
It does display the lyrics on its own screen for both midi-with-lyrics and .kar files.
As far as I know, the only thing you can store files on are floppies. But it does load and read them very fast.

Thanx Don, I just bought (evaluating) a Yam QY100. I basically can turn my (any) keyboard into an arranger with it. I see a lot of potential with it but I was wondering if I could get more features by trading up(?) to a 2000. The QY does have smartmedia loading/saving which would be really nice in the 2000. Who wants to constantly change floppies in a live situation? I don't know it sounds tedious. I guess to get the lyrics out to a monitor I'd have to go up to a 9000 or go Korg.

Don't forget, on the Korg, you have to buy an add-on to get lyrics-out.
