Actually the KN7000 goes one BETTER, it supports tiny removeable SD (secure digital) Memory cards (storage capacity up to 512 meg+ per card). A 1 gb version is in the works. This makes current hard drive technology obsolete. As far as a built in vocalizer is concerned (also an essential feature for me), I'm not sure if the KN7000 includes one or not. Does anyone else here know? - Scott

I read in one of the post about the KN7000, that there is no
harmonizer built in.
But the one that was built into the KN6500 was worthless,
nothing more than a toy they say.
The KN7000 does not have a hard drive neither
only SD cards.

Herbie,
I'm not sure that I understand. Do you want to record a track in the song which will then playback and as you sing, the harmony will be there? If yes, this is what Tune 1000 does in their song files and all other sequencer software programs will allow you to do. The SD1 has both chord type vocal harmony and Vocodor harmony. I'm not an expert with the way you use software to record vocal harmony tracks, but AJ, the ketron tech support person would be able to explain more when he comes home from NAMM this week.

One of the big differences is in the Accordian catagory There are 18 different accordians in the SD1 and only 8 in the Yamaha.

Hi George:

Only 8 accordion voices? How about the 4 additional accordions "hiding" in XG voice files. Ok, so it is still not 18. ;-)

Good to hear from you George. You are right, I forgot those XG voices. I can't slip one past you!
