I use a KN7000 at different size rooms, with different speakers. Like no ext spkr,to Z2200's,to Peavy KB300's. The Peavey's have LMH only. One could use the kb mixer, but wonder if a rackmount would be easier,or even necessary. I have a Behringer mixer in my rack to control volume for KB,speakers, and VR harmoniser.

I found the only way to accept the tone of the bass and drums on the 7000 was to use an external mixer. You can benefit greatly from adjusting the overall tone to each room you play in.

Bernie,

If you use a 2X15 or even better: a 2X31 graphic EQ, you'll have a complete control over the EQ of your PA.
I'll get a 2X15 (1U) graphic EQ soon, but only because a 2X31 wouldn't fit on the rack I'm using right now.

I have a dual 10 band that only takes up 1/2 rack space - want it for $75US?
