How would I do this ?

What I did was create a web site on Lycos/Tripod. It's free and they have a template that makes creating and uploading very easy.
You can then upload MP3s or other sound formats for the world to share. It takes quite some time to upload using phone modem, but DSL makes it much quicker.

There are tons of way to go with this one. I like using an existing mp3 site, that way I don't have to set up a web page. Also many mp3 sites have charts (some world wide charts), you can see how many downloads your getting and if your getting and internet radio play (if the site has a radio station), and most will alow you to have lo fi hi fi and mp3 downloadable files so just about any one with half a brain can check out your music. There are many such sites, iuma.com soundclick.com besonic.com myamp.com mp3.com on and on and on.

Speaking for myself only, I hate sites that have a long, drawn out registration with a password to download FREE music samples. I avoid places like mp3.com for that very reason. Takes too much time that I don't have.
