Well I currently use a Apex double tier stand with the extended lower arm set-up and a mic stand with boom.

My problem is that when I have my PA1xpro and Tyros I can not for the life of me come-up with a set-up that allows me to see both screens without crouching like there is in coming fire.

So my question is , is there a stand that allows 2 large keyboards with enough of a overlap that allows me to see each screen, portable, and have a mic stand incorporated,

I have used an old x-stand in the past, but the mic stand adapter would restrict the depth of the top keyboard,

If this makes any sense, could someone give me some suggestions?

Thanks

Frankie,

I have an Ultimate stand that will do that, is equipped with a mic boom and is 3 tier. $50 plus shipping and it's yours.

Cheers,

Gary

Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for something a little more compact, like the size of an x stand or apex.

thanks anyway

Looks like these units have adjustable top tiers so I can slide them back to get more surface exposed on the bottom tier, but these do not have mic add-ons?

This one says it can add a mic adapter stand but I can't tell if the top tier slides back, and where does the mic stand adapter attach, cause if it attaches to the end piece this will limit the depth of the top keyboard,

Has anyone used any of these?

Frankie,
I use the Quiklok dual stand. Upper level I have a Technics KN7000 (because it has the large lift-up screen and controls). Lower level I have a Roland A-37 Midi controller keyboard, and because the A-37 has a small depth (270mm), I also have a Roland XV-5050 sound module. The module shows in the gap between the A-37 and the KN7000, being lifted in height by an aluminium frame I made which spans the two lower keyboard supports.
I'm no quite sure what your setup would look like, but if you require any dimensions etc, I'd be pleased to respond.
Not sure how to add a photo to these posts or even whether that is possible.
Keith

to learn about adding photos, click the post reply button and look for the link on the left that says *UBB Code is ON. That tells you how to do some things.
