Hi everyone! After played on the Korg PA60 yesterday at a local music shop, I really fell in love with its sounds and styles. I now have a problem deciding if I should get a Tyros or wait for the next new Korg Arranger KB!! Could anyone please give us the inside scoop if there is ever going to be a new Korg arranger KB?? Thanks a million in advance!!

Aloha!

The Frankfurt Musik Messe is only a week away; can you wait so long?

Islander,

I am a biased Tyros owner. I highly recommend the Tyros for it's OVERALL value. Sure, there are some things the Tyros doesn't do as well as other boards. And there are certainly things the Tyros does that are better than other.

When summarized and taken as a whole package, however, I think Yamaha get's very very good grades for the design of the Tyros. And the Tyros really stacks up very favorably against the competition, again, on OVERALL score.

BTW - I'm planning on visiting Oahu in April and I can't wait. Which Island are you from?

Regards,
Al G

Thank you all for responding!
Hi Al, I used to live on Maui, now I am in the states, Dallas, Texas.

I really like the sound/styles of the PA80/60, but I don't like the keyboard design. I wish Korg design their arranger KB better in the future. I have made up my mind to wait and see the next Korg arranger before buying a Tyros.

Again, thank you all! Aloha!

After I tried, the PA80 I fell in love with it, but, @ the time I did not have enough money, then I tried th PSR2000, and for $960.00[Speir's Music Garland, TX.,] It was a good deal.

Hey! I live in Dallas, Too!

Ease over here to Shreveport. You can see a Tyros and gamble your Dallas dollars away at a casino while you're here!

Nope! GC don't even have the PSR2000!
I'm surprised that Speir's Music has the PSR2000 & 1000 on display and in stock.

I'm thinking that probably Brook Mays will have it, thay have the Roland Arrangers.
