Hello
I have been here for some time, but it`s my first time posting.
I baught the SD1 14 days ago.
There seems to be a problem using the 4 outputs when playing midifiles. The drums remain on the stereo (1 & 2) no mather how i try to set up the outputs. (LR + 3, LR + 4 etc) Can yuo owners of the SD1 check out if you have the same problems?

Regards
Martin

Hello Martin and welcome on this best forum site !

As you probably know my SD1 is not there yet, but did you change the output-assignmeent in the GM-part options ?
I think you should do it there and not in the 'normal' output assignment menu's.
What is your overall impression of the SD1 ? ..... we need reports ! ..... ;-))

Martin,

You need to do it in 2 places: (1) KEYBOARD OUT ASSIGN menu (F3 utility, Page + and F6) (2) GM OUT ASSIGN menu (F3 utility, page + and F7).

Hello Chevy ,
When playing midi sequences the drum by default are assigned to output 1 & 2 . I believe it is "nature of the beast" type issue . This also happens with the X4 and X1. How about the "drum bass " feature ? Do you find this useful ? How about the manual bass for midi sequnces ? Dan O
