Data going to the midi in does not seem to be passed to the midi out and there is no midi thru port so I am guessing that there is a way to "thru enable" the midi out. Anyone know how? Thanks!

I would not bet on it..Check and see if it is available within the sequencer..It may give you the option of a thru,if you turn the local off..

Gary , do you have the answer?

I haven't seen anything about MIDI thru in the manual. I guess you have to place the PSR3K at the end (or beginning) of the chain.
It is better to use a MIDI distribution unit where one INPUT fans out to a number of OUTPUTS. It will prevend MIDI-delays.

I was attempting to drive the PSR 3000 from my computer Power Tracks Pro 9) and chaining a Yamaha RX21 for a click track. The Yamaha also does not have a thru on it, however I found out that the Yamaha's out defaults as a thru so I just put it first in the chain and it works fine. Thanks for the suggestions. I am still curious as to whether I can thru enable the 3000.
