X-1 Users,

Not sure how I did it but I managed to mute all midi files on my X-1. I know the midis are playing. In fact I can hear them through an attached module but I'm getting no sound on my X-1 for midi file playback only. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Bob

Sk880user,

Nope....tried that. When I didn't get any suggestions from the board I ended up reinstalling software version 4.0. It took me about 15 minutes to reprogram some settings that I didn't save but it wasn't a big deal. Anyway, it's working fine now.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Bob

Hi Dan,

I checked and it says Local "On". I'm not sure what it was before because I reinstalled the latest OS to correct the problem. I don't think that was the problem because it will play midis in either the on or off position.

By the way on the 2nd page of utilities do you know what "Song Expr" yes or no means?

Thanks.

Bob
