With this program you can set Time Signatures and Tempos in each style part individually.
E.g. a style where one Main Variation and one Fill In is in 3/4 and the rest of style parts are in 4/4.

Hi Jorgen,
is a psr actually capable of playing different time signatures within a style??
I tried it once on my dgx ( with a style I'd created in omb ie one part was 3/4 another was 4/4 ) but when I loaded it into the dgx, it couldn't play it properly, fortunately OMB could.
Wonderful if psr's can do , what the DGX couldn't.

Well the keyboard can not actually play more time signatures in the same style.

The basic idea in the program combining e.g. parts in 2/4 and parts in 4/4 in the same style is explained at http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/articles/halftime.htm

And if e.g. all note lengths in a 3/4 part is multiplied with 4/3 (1.333) AND the tempo is multiplied with the same factor the part will SOUND as a 3/4 part, but will have the same length as "normal" a 4/4 part, and can therefore be combined with other parts (in 4/4) in a 4/4 style.

Just a bright idea ;-)

Hey thanks Jorgen!!!

Now I can get my drummer to speed up towards the end of a song just like a lot of drummers I know do..........!!!

Seriously - This is very useful for songs that do speed up especially when I play Greek music

Hi Jorgen,
what a great idea, Clayderman's piano songs, often have multiple time signatures, so it was impossible to play in the dgx, because it could only load one user style at a time, so I didn't even have the option of switching between 2 user styles to give me 2 different time signatures.

You guys are amazing, where the keyboards sometimes fall short in some functions, you guys find a software solution.

Even though the dgx sold a couple of weeks ago, it will be interesting to try your software for my OMB styles.
