I purchased the NS5R back in the spring of 98 and have been amazed that there has been little support for this module; third party sounds etc. I recently logged on to KORG online and discovered that they no longer even market the instrument. Is the machine full of bugs, or has it just been dismissed as a so-so product in the midst of much better or more powerful products? As I mentioned in my other forum question which has not received any replies I wonder if the sound engine is truly the same as other AI systems?? Thanks Steve

The NS5R offers alot for very little...or it offers a little for alot, depending on how you look at it. It has alot of patches but poor sounding, much like a multimedia card. Since sound quality is what I look for it cost alot for what it has too offer. I think you might not find as much about the unit as others is because most people at this site seem to have the pro gear as opposed to semipro. Have you looked at synthzone.com for a NS5R site?
