Been using jbl eon 10 w/a Behringer 4-ch mixer bungeed on top of it for a long time now for smaller gigs. Today I was in Sam Ash and saw the Roland KC350 for $345 and the Hartke KM60 for $299 that both had 10in spkrs +horn, 4 channels, eq, efx, XLR mic input, kickback style. Tempted to make switch, eon 10's very marketable.
for kb/vocals....waddaya think..??? or do you have any others in that approx weight/price range preferred?

Have you tried the 12" version of any of these? I think the Hartke KM100 would be ideal. At $399 it has 100w of power versus the smaller units with less than 50w. The increased bass and overall fidelity would be improved too, IMO. http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=1875&brandID=3

I haven't actually tried either of them, cassp, except for the eon10 which i now use. since most are familiar with jbl, i was wondering if any have tried either of the others and could offer comparison. I'm sure the hartke km100 has it over the km60, but it weighs a ton..in fact the hartke 60 was a pretty hefty lift for me, the kc350 seemed to be much lighter...lighter than the jbl as well. I'm wondering also why the hartke costs less than the roland, when it seems to be more solidly constructed, has that aluminum spkr.and more controls.
talk about serendipity. i swapped a friend my little Roland gray Cube 5 yrs ago for his old Duovox bass amp because i was running jams at a restaurant, and wanted to provide an amp for drop-in bassists--but it has gathered dust since then, and i just took it out to see how it was working because i was thinking of bringing it north if i might get an opportunity to host some jams there. so i plugged my kb into it, and it not only works..it sounds great, much better than the JBL eon10 I have used in small venues for past 5 yrs. I never realized it was truly a "dual" amp..it has a set of inputs and conrols marked "bass" and a set marked "bright", which I plugged into. Looks like one 15in speaker, which i wouldn't expect to be good for vocals, but it sounds great on vocals too.
Glass half full: now i can sell my jbl+behringer mixer on ebay: item 140117495325, and not have to buy a new amp..or at least can wait for next new models or "steals" Glass half empty: drat, i coulda had this better sound for last 5 years! anybody familiar with Duovox?

Hi, I've been searching hard for info on the amp and it is very hard to find anything. I guess Galanti makes/made accordians. I am still searching for info.. Sound like you have a "rare" find Dont get rid of it and maybe you shouldn't even use it untill you find out more. Jim
Added...I mentioned Galanti because one site I found a picture of a Galanti duovox amp.

There is also a giannini duovox. Unfortunately almost all the Google hits I get are in a language other thaqn english. Perhaps some of our europian friends can search and find more info for you. Jim
OldNewb, thanks for your interest and your research. Mine is not a Bell Duovox, it just has a DUOVOX plate on the front, and on the back it says "Tini-Titan". Perhaps Bell bought the company later on?
there are no controls on the front as in one of the ebay models. there is a chrome plate on top behind the handle that has 2 independent identical sections of dials..the left side says Bass..the right says Bright (the one i like for kb) in the rear there are corresponding jacks. one jack says rev sw 1..the other rev sw 2. since nothing happens when i turn the reverb control knobs, I'm assuming the knobs are meant to control an outboard reverb?
the other knobs are volume, bass, treble. the other jacks are aux. inputs. lower down there is the on/off switch, next to it is a red plastic stick that pushes in/out..I'm assuming there was a clear or translucent red button there..for standby??
