Sorry to hear you're wanting to sell your Tyros John. Any specific reason? Need the cash?? Not as good as you thought it would be?? No time to play it?? Please don't tell me it's the last reason.

I am selling my Tyros because;
1-The tyros is to much keyboard to use without soending a good amount of time. I can see the possibilities, there are many.
2-I do not have enough time to do this keyboard justice.
3-Sorry for this negative--My favorite 2 instruments are trumpet and piano. They are much better on my KN 7000. No contest.
When I play the song I Can't Get Started, the sound of my trumpet gets attention from many of the dancers.
4-With the Christmas, and I have been playing many religious songs, again no contest.

The Tyros is way ahead in drive, dance music. I will be going back to a future Tyros something when time allows.

IMHO, John C.

HI Dnj, I have never made an Mp3 recording, nor how I would send it to you.

I played trumpet in my band for a while. And I tune pianos as my main living. That's the basses of my opinions.

I'll do some resrearch on Mp3's. There is a very notable difference in both the trumpets and the pianos on these keyboards. On my KN 7000, the trumpet still keeps a good full sound as I go into the higher reg.
The piano on the Tyros seems to have thump sound with the auto har. Is it possible to edit that thump?

Hi John,
you'd do it via the audio recorder software that came with your KN7.

You can record a kn7 sequence and even a tyros sequence directly to the audio recording software.

Can't quite remember ( it's been a while since I've used it) if the Audio recording software saves as an mp3, but there'd be a way around it.

Alec covers Audio Recording in the extended KN7 manual and I'm sure the guys on the kn forum would be able to help.

best wishes
Rikki

Hi John,
just checked the audio recorder software that came with the kn7. It does save as an mp3.

Simple as connecting your p.c. to the kn7 via usb cable. Hit record icon on the Audio software, play your sequence. Save as an mp3.

To record the Tyros. Connect audio cables
Out (tyros) into In (KN7). (You'll hear your Tyros playing through the kn7 speakers)
Hit record Icon on Audio Software and play your Tyros sequence. (It uses the kn7 as a sound card, instead of using the computer's sound card.) Again just save as an mp3.

best wishes
Rikki
