I think that Yamaha made a strategy mistake.
May be that 1000/2000 Kb line was developed for a level of owner and by your very good features did go to another class of owner that researchers deeply all operating conditions.
May be ,in the future ,Yamaha will produce a
2000Pro,with flash rom system,changeable chips, etc for exigent owners and 2000 with some FREE bugs for standart owners.

I agree that Yamaha may not have intended for the PSR-2000 to be used by professionals.. However, I doubt you'll ever see a pro version of the PSR-2000 because it already exists.. It's the 9000 Pro. This is how Yamaha will look at it as well. The PSR-2000 is like a nice toyata camry, and the 9000 Pro would be the "Lexus" upgrade.........

PRO....doesnt have to mean a studio model like the 9kpro. I'd like to see a rugged, full featured, arranger keyboard made for professionals that use it on the road every night like me! And I mean, Break it down and really put their heads together and design every feature with the PRO Gigging MUSICIAN in mind for performance and road worthiness. Is this too much to ask?
