Eric....Thanks for noticing the updates. I thought at first they were old updates, then noticed in my case 9000PRO from ver 2.1 to ver 2.2
Not much to change but well worth bringing OS upto date.

Best wishes Graham UK

I installed the new 3.2 ver update sucesfully to the 9k. But when I booted up the screen it still says VER 3. Is this normal or should it read ver 3.2? How can you tell what version your running?

Hi Dnj,

yes this is normal. To check your OS: go under Function, press button H utility, than button D system infomation.
There you'll find your new OS.

Hi Eric

Did you find any evolution in the new up grade?
I couldn't see differences.
May be ,this version can fix some bugs as the chrash screen (rare).

Registration Disk

Hi Chico,

there is a list of improvments with every update.
Once on the update list page, scroll down to instructions. There is a box which says:
OS - Versio - Size - Description.
Under Description click: see Version Up List.
There you'll find the Update list.

Regarding the screen, I've heard on the German forum that it might be a hardware problem. Apparently the processor sometimes can't handle all the data we are putting in.

Hope this helps

Eric

Hi Eric

Regarding screen crashes, what you said is true. I had the problem solved with minus ram utililization.

A week ago I installed the USB interface to my PSR9000. I am still wondering if there is any way I can install the operating system from the hard disk. My computer doesn´t have a floppy drive and my zip drive broke up. So if I download the os update directly to the PSR9000s internal hard disk is there any way I can install it to my computer?

Sorry for my bad english!

Micco

Hi Micco

One knows the OS version only over the floppy disk drive of the 9000er or a Zipdrive installing.

Installing over disk drive Keep Start/Stop pressed and switch on 9000er.

Installing over Zip drive Start/Stop & Ending 1 keep pressed and 9000er on switch.

Micco
You might be able to transfer the new OS from your PC to the
KB hard drive then transfer/ save the new OS to floppy disk on
the KB then load the new OS from floppy. Because I don't think
you can load it from the KB hard drive directly.
Hope this helps
