Looks great. Thanks for the info.
I don't see where they mention that it will display text files for lyrics.
The weight is RIGHT, 29 pounds.

Wow, that looks pretty good! I like some of the pa1x styles. Curious about cost.

The PDF manual is there on the link, should answer all the questions. That is if you want to wade through another manual I'm sure it wouldn't be the first. LOL

Looks like a great rig!

So now is the pa1x still the best?

I'm not to the point where I want to read the manual. Just curious. Do you recall if the manual said it would display Text files?
Thanks,
DonM

it's really an upgrade to the 80, not a replacement for the PA1x (THAT will come next year imo , maybe at summer Namm) although i think that some of the things on the 800 will find their way onto the new PA2??X....like the increased poly and RAM and the 3 USB ports (one is a host port)....price is believed to be at $2500 Euros...the keyboard guy i deal with has just returned from a dealer demonstration day with the board, and he was mildly impressed...speakers are good, some new styles, it's got the TC Helicon vocal processor..NO option for the MP3 board, and the HDD is an option...bottom line if you have a PA80 you would upgrade but not if you have a PA

don, the reading of the text files is a function of the "songbook"...(i have the PA1XPro)its works okay i suppose, but imo it is not very well implemented if you just want to write your own lead sheets for display...the karaoke function works well for karaoke files though, not that i use them but i have experimented with it to see how it works
