#16691 - 09/01/04 12:39 PM Poly-61M Omni Off - via MIDI command?

Hello,

I really hope someone can help me with this. I've searched the archives and found nothing. I recently added a Korg Poly-61M to my arsenal. I have the manual for the Poly-61 and was lucky enough to find someone who copied off the supplimentary "midi" manual that came with the 61M's.

When a Poly-61M is turned on, it always starts up with MIDI in "Omni Mode", which means that it receives on any MIDI channel. I need the turn Omni Mode off. The MIDI manual states that in order to turn off Omni Mode, an "omni off" message must be sent via MIDI to the 61M. Does anyone have an idea of how to send an "omni off" message via MIDI, or even what it would be? Would it be a control change? Some sysex message? I'm stumped!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Michael
