Hello,

I have a Roland FP2 Stage Piano which I use for gigs in pubs & clubs. I could do with some additional amplification for the piano which favours good tone over raw power. Stereo would be nice but not essential – currently looking at some powered monitor speakers, but I’m a bit stuck as to what best to buy.

Any suggestions,

John.

John,

You could amplify so many different ways bro, but I would just keep it simple in your case, retain your desired tone if not hone it out even better, and also be fully expandable to any degree. They are a little pricey, but I would get a Roland keyboard amp.
Now, I'm not a lover of all Roland gear, But, I doubt there is a person on this board that could righteously bash on the performance of a Roland keyboard amp (with the exception, including me, of whining about the darn price of 'em) The little bit more though, guaranteed, will never wind up as wasted money.
.
Pete
