According to the manual the Pa-80 will display lyrics while in song mode in the following formats: Solton, M-Live (Midisoft), Tune1000 and compatable (Edirol, GMX, Hitbit, XF).
It does NOT mention anything about standard .kar files or SMF + lyrics files!
(The GEM web page for Pro Arrangers do mention this feature explicitly)
Is this just a promo plug to get you to buy the premade files from these companies and their way of discouraging using home made files or will it really NOT support common .kar files made with common software (freeware)or even DL'd from the net ??
I've almost bought this thing twice now but....
