Is there any truth to replacing the zip drive with a removable notebook harddrive?

I heard this on one of the va7 forums

Yes you are right. I read the post and the moderator of the forum says; he installed a notebook IDE harddisk under 2Gb capacity and it works.Formatting time of the harddisk in the VA76 was 30 Min.
