Team,
Just wanted to find out from all current SD1 users, what hard cases are you using for transportation? Can your SD1 fit (if squeezed) into your X1's KETRON-case?)

Do let me know.

Thanks,

AJ

Ketron does have a hard case with wheels that will be available soon for the SD1. SKB5014w will work as well . Dano

The possibility of me purchasing an SD1 seems to grow every day now .

If I do end up deciding on the SD1, I will need to keep the total 'carrying weight' (case + keyboard) as light and small as possible. Is there a lightweight softcase (with sufficient padding) available which is very close to the dimensions the SD1?

What brand/model is recommended? Please list the case weight/dimensions as well.

Thanks, - Scott

I ordered the hard case with wheels from Ketron for the SD1. Don't know the dimension or weight and I haven't seen a picture of it either. I ordered it because I need it. I hope to get it soon.

Folks,
If you take out the white supports from the current KETRON X1 case, the SD-1 will fit in just fine; i.e. the SD1 will fit (tightly) into the X1's case (just an FYI for X1 users who upgrade to the SD1).
Thanks
AJ

Roland has just released a hard case with wheels for the VA7 which is sound sensitive; this means that if you whistle the case will follow you like a dog; if you snap your fingers the case will stop and if you clap your hands the upper lid will pop open (provided the case is in horizontal position, of course).
Very cool indeed!
