Thank for your help, dear friends. You have opened my eyes (and ears) in my doubt between PSR740 or KN5000. It likes evident that KN5000 is better buy; so, I will go for it. Same of you ask me where I can buy KN5000 at 1200$. I must tell I am in Spain and, as Technics don't make KN5000 from a year, the rest of KN5000s are at lower price.

Now I have a Roland E-36, and I would like to convert its styles (and other Roland keyboards styles) for to play it on KN. What is the best manner to do: using the converter disk of the own KN5000, or ask for those converted styles on the net? If you consider that the second option is better, do you know where can I find converted styles from Roland to KN5000 on the net?

Thank you for hour help.

Joseluis,

You say you own a Roland E-36. Did you perhaps mean to say Roland E-86? If so, then
I recommend a style converter software program called "KNStyleworks" or "KNWorks Professional" produced by EMC which will convert keyboard styles from most all brands & models of arranger keyboards to the Technics KN5000.

KNStyleworks: DM $298 (german mark)
KNWorks Professional: DM $498 (german mark)
*also includes (standard midi file) song to KN style converter

Works Universal: DM $798 (german mark)
*does all of the above but includes converting to/from ALL brands of arranger keyboards. This is the one I own.

You can purchase the above software from Tastenshop in Germany:

Thaks Scott but... those programs are too expensive for me!!!
If you recommend them, must I undersand that you think the own converter on the KN5000 doesn't go?
And, by the other side, does not exist a place on the net where I can have styles converted from Roland to KN... free or not too expensive?

Thank
