The seller has 46 feedbacks, but has never sold anything..they just buy little [inexspensive] items..

No reserve is mentioned..

Could be real....Ask them some questions. I'm surprised I didn't see any shipping or production information like; "we purchased this and it's too much keyboard for us" or something like that. NO mention of what condition it's in.

However, I'm with you and think it highly suspicious.

You should know the standard drill by now.. ask the seller to allow you to purchase it on ESCROW payment.

ask to see a picture of the actual keyboard he is selling, not a stock photo.

Hi Fran

I bought most of my major equipment through ebay and my Tyros from a for sale add on one of the forums.

If you're interested, and it's high ticket, and you're uncertain, I'd start with email and ask for a phone number. You should be able to tell right away.

Good Luck

The best thing is for you to ask him to
send you the Serial #. If he says its in a sealed box let him know the number is also on
the box. This will usually scare them away.

Allthough good advices , there's only one way .
Tell them you wanna pick it up and pay cash.

If I suspect a scam this is allways what I do.

If you cannot pickup , report to E-Bay immediately!
They might even have stolen someone's ID.

Hi Fran,
it doesn'look very promising.

The newest Roland high end arranger,
only very recently available in the States and on selected shops only,
for sale,
in the hands of someone who is on Ebay for a little more than a year and has no musical buying or selling past, (at least not the past 90 days, except an amplifier and a subwoofer enclosure)
on a 1-day auction listing?

On the other hand, if you have the time, and a fast internet connection, you can wait until it is about 10 min to the end and then bid, then see what happens.

Just for kicks, I e-mailed him with a serial # request and when & where did he buy it asked why he was selling it....no answer.

Well Pinky is a proud new owner of a G-70... for 898.00. I should have thrown up a bid... under 1000 so if it did fail ebay has the buyer protection. (Unlike Paypal, I HATE YOU! )

Ohh would that be sweet Id resell it, whoa what a profit

Im kinda debating on whether the people were dumb enough to not bid, or smart enough to realize the fraud???
