Anyone have an ESQ-1 they've changed the battery on? I'm pretty comfortable inside the guts of this board, and while it's no longer my main board, she's my baby and I don't want to hurt her. that said, I also don't want to hurt my wallet. the only reliable repair shop around where I live would be a minimum of $40 to do it. It's a soldered-in Lithium, and I'm debating trying to desolder and remove outright, or clip n' splice. any Ideas? Opinions? Caveats?

I've also got an SQ-R that needs the same thing, but I've never opened it up to see if it's a clip-in....
