I suppose its a keyboard players forum and at present many are traumatised so a little tolerance of same may be ok. It will draw to a close soon I expect so there you go my twopence worth. PS do any of you use single registrations and text files with same name. I have tried many times to get this info. Pierce

Yes, it looks like it's more a kind of
"WarZone" nowadays, let's keep it as the
nice music forum as it is ment to be.
I also think here is too much talk about
God, religious and polotical things who
don't belong to this particularly forum.
Just my personal point of view.........
Kind regards
GJ

Hmmm... I ment political, not polotical.

The world was rocked this month - a little "fallout" has to be expected. The normal musical topics are still being discussed, but emotions are high, and we all need to vent here and there. It's cathartic, and helpful. We're only showing our human side, and that is a vital componant of a musician as well, right?

Dave I hope we all stay at the forum until we stop playing arrangers. I use alot of piano and some guitar and at times I fell I have little to offer but SureI'll stay for the crack anyway.

I'm a guy that plays arranger kb's only because they have built in drum machines. I avoid using the patterns as much as I can, because I like playing my own bass lines, or just straight piano type chords. I was doing a solo act LONG before the arrangers were any good, and to tell the truth - some of my early recordings sounded better than the new ones today. It's not ALL gear talk.

Dave I cant manage without my piano I am a busker basically and the piano allows me thump out stuff that allows for error also the piano allows me back singers better, Sometimes I turn all off except drum and it is great. I use humour to entertain, I never rely on music alone- I laugh in the middle of songs talk to people as thsy cross the floor and try to remember where I was in the song and mostimes I have a great Crack, I dont copy original but sometimes I regret that I dont as I lose out on what I could learn by doing it that way however I hate to be constrained I am inconsistent and I may stay that way. I play guitar and work pedals for about 10% of night. Pierce
