Greetings my fellow musicians...
I got me a brand new Casio CTK-900 and I can't get it to work with my PC. I am getting no signal neither in Reason 4.0 or Fruity Loops 8.0.
It has General MIDI I/O. The cable I am using is 5pin to 15pin (gameport). My old MIDI keybord works just fine on this cable. But not CTK-900.
Please anyone with any suggestion will make my day...

Have you tried connecting the MIDI out from the CTK-900 to the MIDI in of your other keyboard to see whether it is receiving MIDI?

Other things to check are the channel that your Casio is set to transmit MIDI on. Also make sure "Local Control" is set to ON else playing the keyboard will not transmit MIDI data.

tnx mate for reply...
but after trying all possible things, I've returned CTK-900 and replaced it with LK-270 with USB MIDI connection. Works like a charm...
