Hi, thinking about buying the QS81. Never had a synth before. My burning question that no salesperson has been able to answer:

I need to know if you can use the sliders to mute individual voices in a mix. And then can you assign a pedal to a slider so that you can mute 1 voice of a mix with the pedal. So for example if I have a strings and piano mix, can I mute the piano sound so that I only have strings playing. I play music that has strings/piano in one measure and strings alone in the next measure.

Thanks much for any information.

I've found that the sliders and the pedal can be assigned to just about any parameter. Sometimes you have to play around to get what your looking for, if you don't want to break out the manual - but bringing voices in and out of a mix, or a program for that matter if fairly straight forward.
