Im Mel Morley keyboardist who has performed with Ron Wood,Yngwie Malmsteen,Inner Circle,A flock of Seagulls,KC and the Sunshine band,Buddy Miles,and Im in Bolzano,Italy to pick up the first Mediastation x-76.I must say that it is amazing both in sound and build quality.The user interface is easy to navigate and the DUAL MEDIA players are able to play wav,avi,mp3,midifiles seamlessly allowing for tempo locked or free running crossfades if desired.The TIMESTRETCHING and AUDIO TRANSPOSING utilities can also be used either together or independantly in realtime.
The use of LINUX means less CPU strain and no dependence on MICROSOFT s in difference to the music end users,as well as open source code to ALL developers so that in fact we can truly be a global musical community.
