I'm thinking about revamping my whole setup (24 track ADAT recording) and changing over to Pro Tools. I've seen a lil bit of it and heard a lot about it. Shit looks pretty cool. My basic goal is to be able to do all pre-production AND post-production in one sitting. Is this possible? I'm tired of my shit getting mixed by someone who doesn't give a **** what it sounds like.

I'm workin on a G3 wit 6 Gigs and 128MB RAM. Will that cut it? If anyone can give me an explaination of how Pro Tools works (waiting on Digidesign to send me some videos) I'll greatly appreciate it..
