Is this a fair question or have styles become more universal between manufactures? To replace my FP5 Roland for performance and writing I've been looking at a Fantom X7 lately and it has some wonderful abilities. Its 16 touch sensitive pads can be assigned to trigger anything from simple to complex long passages during song playback (something I looked for quite a while) but using it as a song writing tool is not nearly as simple as an arranger. The sounds are far better than any arranger I've ever come across but it also doesn't as easily replace a drummer for an evening as an arranger will.
I am a piano player and need 76 decent feeling keys (Fantom X6 action is good enough) and I don't think I want a module. I'd like 128 polyphony and assignable outs to route a click track to a drummer. It needs to weigh in at less than 40lbs and I don't have to have speakers. I do need good Brazilian and generic latin styles or a way to get them loaded. I'm also not hung up on having the latest arranger or even a new one for that matter. Any suggestions for me.
thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
I don't know if we've talked about this product before but how about a VA76 Roland keyboard. 128 note polyphony, great feeling 76 key keyboard, no speakers, arranger styles with tons of Latin on Zip, and 16 track sequencer and now discontinued because of the G70 coming out so the price is really low. Call me.
