Thank you very much George, for sharing your information!

Do you think that the GW-7 will be an arranger keyboard, since Roland says "performance keyboard with preset backing"?

I found this picture on the net. The corresponding text is in Japanese.....

It doesn't seem to be an arranger keyboard. My guess is that it is a performance keyboard without styles, derived from the G-70.

GW-7 is really an arranger keyboard, it is made in china. i have read it's chinese manual.

it has a lot of chinese and asia Voice. I personal think it's maneuverability is poor. hard to operate.

it seems a EXR-5 without loudspeakers, and specifically made for China (and directed to chinese music). It appears in chinese pages only

I can't understand Roland.
This new GW-7 seems a very basic range model, very similar to EXRs. Then, I can't see the reason for to put it in stores.
It would be better tu put a middle range model which Roland hasn't now.
Perhaps Roland can't do it, as Korg and Yamaha can.
Afterwards, what caotic system Roland uses for naming these keyboards.
You see: EXRs, GW7, G70.

Is anyone else having problems with the links on this topic? I can't see the pic, and I keep getting dead links everytime I click on them to see this new Roland. It's only on this page too. I can do it elsewhere but the links on this one are dead.

Apparently Roland took down the link I listed above until Thursday. It was active this morning and I read through many of Roland's new offerings... but it's gone now, temporarily.

I think I want CD-2 for my field recordings, or to add 2 more mic inputs to my regular setup! ( Now .... how much is this worth to me...hmmmmmmmm......?)
If Roland puts a list price of under $499 - I might be a customer.
