Most scales only go up to 350. I'm above that.

Hi Joe,
I have the YST-MS50's hooked up to my 9000pro. They came with the board otherwise I might have been tempted to go for something else BUT they are very good quality.

Even at quite high volumes there is no distortion provided you don't go too mad with the bass on the sub. Better than a lot of other speakers I have had in the past.

If you want to know anything more specific then give me a shout
best wishes
Tony W

PS Dave:
Nice to see even you pro's practice your scales (I know.....so weak!)

I've always thought very highly of the 'strength' of this board ..... but now I know thanks must go to Nigel for creating what must be the STRONGEST board on the 'net .... I am happy to note that while I can hold my own (not weight of course, I'm not THAT strong ) I am only one of the big guys around here ..... Hey, DonM, you've got me 3 inches in height, but I've got you in weight .... at 6'5'', 260 you're close to down-right slim ... .... but Joe, you've got me beat .....
UD ..... keep that scale AWAY from ME !!!

According to the PSR-2000 specs, the two speakers in the keyboard produce 12w each. The YST-MS50 has two 20w speakers plus the 40w subwoofer for a total of 80w. The Altec Lansing 621 have two speakers with 45w each plus the 53w subwoofer for 143w total. It looks like the YST is stronger than the internal speakers and the Altec even stronger than that! The Altec lists for $149, but the lowest price is $85. Amazon has it for $108 w/free shipping. I guess I'll have to pass this information on to my wife!
