I am very reluctant to sell any of my keyboards or guitars. The amount I would get for them just wouldn't justify how much I would miss having them. I learnt many years ago to always keep instruments that I enjoy. So I now have a collection of around 5 synths and 10 guitars and basses and it continues to grow. I don't spend a lot of money but just buy wisely.
