You are certainly welcome here. I still have 2 Roland JX8P synths that I use as well as a Yamaha TX802 and a Waldorf Pulse. But I also use a Yamaha PSR550 for song writing and putting down ideas. Different keyboards have different applications. I enjoy them all. Don't give up on VSE. They provide excellent info. But it is good to see you here all the same.
