Hi John
I have been playing around with the KN7000 and Cubase Studio 4 for a few months and its not quite that straight forward, not sure if its the Panasonic midi driver.
I do have a KN7K instrument definition script I found on the internet and a Standard Drum Map I produced myself, if you look in the blue reference guide there are more drums available below the Bass drum key which shows up on the drum map. I'll post both of them to your email address in your profile.
As far as I know there are two ways to get your performance to show up as notation in the Score part of Cubase, if its just one track record it into Cubase and then select the Score editor (Page Mode is best)or save the performance as a midi file in the KN and then just import this into cubase. To see the Auto Accompaniment you will have to change the channel settings in the KN under Midi/Part Settings and turn the other parts off, also in this case the APC will only record onto one track in Cubase, you will then have to use 'Dissolve' in the Midi menu to separate out the tracks to their relevent channel numbers.
If you need any more help send me an email (address in my profile) and I'm sure between us we can solve some of the problems.
Glen
