I feel music is is structural freeform.

You have to be careful with certain aspects, such as "how do you start writing a song" for example. There are many different ways to start writing a song and you should try different ways.

Thet thing with musicians is usually after creating music for awhile if they take a step back and look at themselves they will see that they have a "Rule Book" on how songs should be written, concieved, recorded, ect. and they couldn't really tell you where it came from because they sure didn't start that way.

In a lot of ways one can limit their creativity by making rules for themselves on how music can be.
