Full featured controllers are a real time saver when you program them to compliment your DAW. I use the AKAI MPK 249, and I LOVE it. The knobs, sliders, and pads can trigger almost ANYTHING MIDI can read. For a keyboardist, those cheaper akai keys feel awfull..

The Advance series tough has a nice keybed..
However its VIP software and support is generally seen as a disaster..
