Dave, you are right, the 9000Pro wasn't a PSR! Or at least I can't seem to see a PSR logo on the keyboard. It looks beautiful from the pictures I've seen of it. The only one of it's kind - until the T5's 76's keys version.

Rikki, yes it does sound familiar! I've never owned or even seen the 9000 series, but from all accounts the styles (and maybe even sounds) from the 9000 and Pro were quite different?

I think what I am trying to understand is where Yamaha broke away from the PSR series being TOTL. PSR seems quite misleading for the SX series I think as I think it's way better than a PSR model, especially when I think the SX900 is arguably more advanced than all the Tyros models.
