I have a friend who does some NH/AL gigs, playing guitar and singing ... he has been using his Fender Twin Reverb amp for both guitar with backing tracks and vocals... He wants to 'lighten his load' as the Fender weighs a TON, and improve the sound quality if the backing tracks and vocals ... He is looking at possibly a lighter amp for the guitar and a powered speaker for the backing tracks and vocals, without spending a LOT of money ... Both would need Line Outs so he could hook into other powered speakers for the rare larger gigs... Most of the gigs he plays are 100 people or less ...

Any suggestions ?
