I'd go with #1 Bill..........this all needed to be done when your initially setting up each registration so you don't have to go back and do it all over again...yes it takes time but once your homework is done its finished..

BTW what vocal efx settings for singing are you happy with on the S970...type/levels/etc, etc..and r u using the live control knobs also to adjust voc/VH?..
