It's not a straight load from the 603 to the KN6000 (from my experience) I don't know if it is a straight load from the Kn6500 because I don't have one.
But the 603 does have a APC to SMF conversion built in. It will convert your APC very easily and with some fancy work you can also convince it to convert your "hand" sequenced discs.
