Donny, ... yes, obviously it is a personal comfort thing ... I prefer to be higher ... my stand and 'throne' are set quite a bit higher than yours ... also I prefer the 'look' more ...
But it's all personal preference ...no right or wrong - except for the 'ergonomics' ...

BTW ... that's a pretty 'dressed up' crowd for an afternoon gig ...
