..What style do you use to record the song MORELOVE.
Hi Machetero,
I think it was my version of "English Tune" or something to that effect. I found either under my OS20C factory styles or "Best Audya Styles" download. I remember though that between these two directories, that there are two different versions of it. You'll find it there.
...I'm interested in how you created the songs as well.
Hi kharri,
...
1. I create a new folder called "I like"
2. Next I start listening one by one to all the styles I have. If anything grabs my attention, I copy and past to my "I like" folder. This takes up a lot of time, even weeks maybe.
3. When I find a good intro or ending on an otherwise poor style, I'll save these seperately for later use.
4. When I'm done, I start to listen to every single style in my "I like" folder. Because everything in there grabs my attention and inspires me, I'll thoroughly enjoy listening to all of them one by one and this do not feel tedeous at all anymore.
5. Every so often a song would come to mind whilst I'm being higly inspired. I then save it immediately as an registration with the song title as it's name.
6. I repeat "4. & 5." for as long as I have this arranger. Everytime I do this, more songs spring to mind.
7. Later I'll start tweaking some of the styles in my "I like" folder. In my Yamaha, I started copying intros & endings that are nice to some of my favourite styles. Even some complete variations from other styles. (I like to start with a soft ballad in variation 1 and build it up to a rock version in variation 4. This is just the way I like to perform.)
The above is just the way I like to do it & it works well for me. Yes, there are some good styles and also some common ones out there. The above is the only way I've found to date to sift through them all...
...Any particular place you get the music (melody, chords)?
Sorry my friend, cannot help you there. I cannot read music. I just play back what I hear.
As for registrations, I started a topic to share those, but no one was interested. The most easy thing to do on the fly for the Audya. Go for it!
Keep well all my friends,
Henni
