If I'm not mistaken , there are 2 dedicated buttons ( near left control , 1st row) that allow you to select style or song mode (written in blue lettering)when the remix mode is engaged . You need to move from song to style . You must be using the style you are going to transition into with the remix . Sorry I do not have the XD9 in front of me . Call me Saturday if you wish .
